The day begun with Andreas being very keen to attempt a hideous mantle problem at the Dunkeld boulder. The problem is given V7 and is pretty intimidating as you have to climb out a roof and then commit to a mantle 2 or so metres off the deck. So he hassled us numpties out the boulder at 8:30am to give him a spot. It was 2 degrees and he grovelled his way to glory.
We then drove to the most impressive looking crag in the Grampians. The Lost World. Epic rock, epic walk in!
We lapped up the classic moderates, with James Wynne getting an impressive onsight of Eau Rouge, a mega classic bit of rock.
James Wynne on a great onsight of Eau Rouge (23). The crux is protected by fiddly wires and a bolt.
